A little about us and how we came to be...
Axes and Arrows was born out of a life long passion for projectiles. A childhood of honing those stone throwing skills. Making bows and arrows in the local woodlands. Homemade spears and catapults from bits and bobs found in Dad's garage. Later, years of club and competition Archery as well as Rifle shooting. Axe throwing caught my attention a number of years back whilst in the US on vacation, so I figured why not bring a pairing of two of my favourite activities to you. A mobile, Axe throwing and Archery service.
Whether you're planning some entertainment for your Wedding. Organising a team building event, private Party, Fete, Fair, Festival or just about any event where you would like to add a barrel full of addictive fun and friendly competition then we would be honoured to be there. We had the privilege of being invited to the home of the one and only Mr Steve Coogan to provide axe throwing for the Baby Cow Productions team. It was a fantastic event and so much fun. Thank you to you all for hiring us and especially thank you to Mr Coogan for inviting us to your beautiful home. It was a real pleasure. Hope to see you all again in the future.

We're Famous!!! Ok that's an exaggeration. But our axe and target are!! :)
We received a call from Esser Associates who were looking to hire us to build a revolving 8ft axe target, strap a volunteer to it and throw axes at it. "Sounds great, but what on earth for?" we asked. We're not a trick shot show after all. They ask if we would be interested in coming to London film studio's for a day to help with a commercial shoot for Mr Q online casino. We were more than happy to help!! Although we all agreed very quickly that a spinning human target was definitely not happening. After a bit of negotiation it was decided we would build a static circular 8ft target, cover it with a vinyl target face in the MrQ company colours and then throw an axe at it. I say "an axe" because the target face needed to remain unmarked other than where the axe lands. No pressure!! The shoot was a great success and a lot of fun. We were thrilled to be a part of it.
